Hello,

I haven't submitted my site to dmoz yet, because I have been researching the best way to go about it.

One of the topics I heard that is very important, would be the correct category for your site.

So I am asking what category should I submit my site to.

My site is just a list of real paying paid to click and survey sites. I have banners and links with my referral links in them. I have also included photos on my site of me getting paid and there is a contact page. There is nothing else on my site.

What is my best bet for getting this into dmoz.

Please help and thanks for any advice in advance.

Your first job, _always_ (and all other times!) is to create a core of unique content--unavailable elsewhere.

Your second job is to make sure you've done the first job--right.

Once that is done, then you can decorate your pages with a modest sprinking of the advertising links you've mentioned. (The Open Directory's volunteer reviewers will try to ignore them if possible.)

Giving the impression that a website is intended primarily as a background of advertising (like the links you describe) is fatal to hopes of an Open Directory listing. So don't make those links too obtrusive!

And then, when the website is done, it's reasonable to look at the Open Directory to see what category the unique content would best fit. (It doesn't matter what category the advertisements relate to--remember, we're trying to ignore them.)

Step 3 simply doesn't exist before steps 1 and 2 are passed.

Thank you very much. I think I will take some time and edit my website before i submit it. I think I need to put something extra on my site that users would come there for other then just to look at some sites. Possibly a thread showing scam sites or something along those lines. That my help show that my site is not just full of banners lol.

Thanks again.
