Hello ODP community. Lilly here. I'm a newbie. :) My apologies if I'm not properly detailing a dead URL/website in this post. If there is a proper way please let me know as I'd like to help out. Here's a first try:

Category: http://www.dmoz.org/Reference/Education/Colleges_and_Universities/College_Life/

Dead Listing Title: eGrad

Dead Listing URL: http://www.egrad.com

DETAILS: URL landing page reads "remodeling" and links to a loan website. An archive.org search reveals the website has been "remodeling" since December 2007, see: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.egrad.com

Thank you very much for letting us know :) That information was perfectly sufficient for helping us find the site in the directory.

The site has been removed from public view.

Hello lilly3, and thank you for helping volunteers to maintain the quality of the directory. :)

There is a "sticky" thread at the top of this forum where anyone is welcome to report things like this, so if you'd like to help us again, that would be the best place to post.

As you can see, another volunteer has already dealt with this dead site, so thanks again for pointing it out!

In the grand scheme of things, it is a very tiny oops, and the active editors are delighted to have that kind of participation -- so feel free to come back and contribute as often as you wish in that manner.

All and all, it is a really neat way for non-editors to contribute to the well-being of the directory.

Thank you spectregunner. :) Finding dead links is therapeutic in its own little way.

If you are enjoying helping us, may I suggest another, even more therapeutic option: apply to join us! :D

(And shhhh, nobody point out that "therapeutic" is but a short step from "addiction". :p )

Hi makrhod.
Thank you for the post.
You're right about the therapy being a short step from addiction.
But, as a wiseperson once said, "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten." :)
I've found more dead links and will post in appropriate forum.
Bless,
+Lilly3+
