I have found a site in the directory that has no index page, is there a reason that it is OK for that site to remain listed?

Is the Editor of the dating or relationship categories gone on strike?
I ask as I have submitted 7 sites to the same directory over the last 2 years and NONE of them have been listed, even though they contain completely unique content, AND offer valuable information to users AND have been submitted to the correct category.
I have gathered that you are unable to tell webmasters when sites HAVE or HAVE NOT been included, however is there the possibility of letting us know what the leadtimes are of specific categories? i.e. there is a 6 week wait to be listed in X category?
