Several months ago a link on DMOZ was directing traffic to my personal webpage. With thanks to brmehlman of this forum, that problem has now been corrected. Thank you brmehlman... much appreciated!

However the defunct link seems to have taken on a life of its own. It is now appearing on http://www.music-instruments-list.com/Top_Arts_Music_Instruments_Electronic_Synthesizers_Manufacturers_Technics.html as
The Key of G - Technics oriented e-zine

I have been unable to determine the owner of www.music-instruments-list.com and therefore have been unable to contact them. I find no contact information on their website. It would appear that the www.music... site is a mirror image of the DMOZ site and publishes a link to the DMOZ site. Perhaps they are affiliated?

Help! Anyone know how I can finally put this problem to rest.

If they're using our data, they're simply one of hundreds that do. We have no control over how frequently any data users update their version of our data. I'm afraid you'll just have to keep trying to contact them yourself.

There are thousands of sites using ODP data.

They usually get the data by downloading one of the near-weekly RDF dumps. The ODP has no control over when or how often some other site may come back for an updated copy.

If dmoz.org has updated the listing, then that is as much as anyone here can do.

You'll have to take it up directly with that other site. You should try the whois database to find out who the site owners and contacts are.
