Did I make a mistake?

Is this area just for editors of the ODP? I had made an announcement regarding an open source group and it was removed. I hope that I did not violate anything. Its a free group, and it doesn't benefit me in anyway. Sorry if I made a mistake. Please answer my question or point me in the direction of guidelines for this forum. It looked like this forum was for posting anything not related to ODP. Sorry again and thanks.

I was the one who removed it, considering that the whole R-Z forum is devoted to the discussion of ODP issues and only that. Sorry if that was brutal -- I thought it was trolling pure and simple. Please excuse me if you meant well.

Ahh - just thought it was in the best interest of others for networking and collaborating and free. The description for this members area was misleading to me as it says its for "A place for all of our members to kick back and relax. " Sorry about that, just didn't understand what was happening. No problem, not brutal, I just couldn't figure what line I had overstepped. Have a great day!
