I've applied to become an editor and get a reply here you can see

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Open Directory Project editor!
Although we would like you to join us as a volunteer editor, you have chosen a category that is larger than we typically assign to a new editor, or is otherwise unsuitable for an inexperienced editor to start editing in. We would encourage you to re-apply for a category that is smaller in scope, and/or is less likely to attract large numbers of site suggestions. Once you have been accepted to a different category and have gained some editing experience, it will be possible for you to apply to take on additional categories (including the one you applied to here).
Feel free to reapply by submitting an application in another area or to a sub-category of the category you applied for originally. If you wish to re-apply, you must fill out another application. Please do not reply to this email.

The category you applied for is larger than we like to assign to a new editor, still learning the ropes. The appropriate size for a first category depends on the nature of the category (for example, how much spam it attracts, and whether site placement decisions are straightforward or tricky) but as a rule of thumb, categories with at least 15 sites (so that you can actively edit and gain experience) but fewer than 70-100 sites are good choices.
Now the problem is when I tried to reapply dmoz says my username is already in use and when I tried to login it says your account needs email verification for login but I haven't received any email for verification.
Can you please update the status? Have I become an editor?
