Directory Index Bug?

It seems that the directory index is inconsistent or corrupt. Below is a description of a problem.

Step 1.
The following URL:
http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=Turbotect

shows me that Turbotect website, http://www.turbotect.com/home.html, is listed in
Business: Industrial Goods and Services: Industrial Supply: Generators: Turbine
directory. This is fine.

Step 2a.
However, if I browse the "... Generators: Turbine" directory directly, i.e. via the link
http://dmoz.org/Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Industrial_Supply/Generators/Turbine/ ,
the result is that the website in question (Turbotect Ltd., http://www.turbotect.com/home.html) is NOT included into the listing.

Step 2b.
Also, when I try to Update the Listing for http://www.turbotect.com/home.html in "... Generators: Turbine" directory, via the link of http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/update.cgi?...Services/Industrial_Supply/Generators/Turbine ,
it reports that "the site http://www.turbotect.com/home.html is not listed in this category. "

However, as desribed in Step 1, the query http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=Turbotect
reports that the website in question resides in
Business: Industrial Goods and Services: Industrial Supply: Generators: Turbine
directory.

Obviously, there is a contradiction.
I wonder if there are workarounds to solve the problem and get the site listed correctly.

The ODP search is merely an adjunct of the directory. It is not updated in real-time. If you look to the bottom of the search results you'll see the date and time when it was last updated. This is usually weekly, but not always. There are a number of threads here about search that go into more detail.

The bottom line: If the site is listed in the category, it's listed. It will be part of the RDF that is available to downstream users of the data.

Not a bug. A design issue perhaps. Not something we're looking to fix.

I believe the site was dropped off the index due to its temporarily unavailable URL. I will have to resubmit then...
