Directory submission? (but main index is submitted already)

Hi,
Thanks for looking into my question. I run an educational site, let's call "www.educationalsite.com". Over the past 7 months, it has been waiting for submission. Now, the site has expanded, and an educational directory has been added to the site, let's call it "directory".

Since "www.educaitonalsite.com" has been submitted already to one category, can I submit it to another directory, specifically "www.educationalsite.com/directory"?

My main concern is that my site, which has been submitted for many many months, will be deleted frome queue. will that happen if I submit the directory to another category?

Thanks!

What you are doing is what we call deep linking, and it is a practice that was common in the early days of the diretory, but is frowned upon now.

If, in the opinion of the editors, a site has sufficient content to be worthy of an additoinal listing, then the editors will (in conjunction with staff) take the appropriate steps.

So, please do not submit the deep link.

The vast majority of "directories" submitted today do not get listed at all. And the "Directories" categories are for sites that don't have any other significant content. Your site has, you claim, other significant content, so it's not appropriate for listing there.
