Disappearing category?

Three weeks ago, I applied to be editor of Games:Miniatures:Galleries.

Now the category appears to have disappeared or been consolidated into another top level category.

I've never seen that happen before. Is my application now null and void? I believe I applied under the name jbishop or dragon_rider10.

There are no pending applications for Games:Miniatures:Galleries , nor are there any using the usernames you mentioned.

I can't see a Galleries category under http://dmoz.org/Games/Miniatures/

There is no such category: http://dmoz.org/Games/Miniatures/Galleries

Hmm. Well, that confirms my suspicion that the category was removed. Should I resubmit to another category or contact the editor of the parent category?
