The search database has always run behind the directory. Usually it's within a few weeks of being current, but we haven't been able to update it since the technical problems mentioned in the announcement at the top of this forum created such havoc.

When we update the search database (sorry, I can't predict how long that will be) then that site will correctly show on the search as not being in the directory.

The updated search will then allow you to determine which of your sites we decided was the one to list.

Please Explain

Greetings
I have not understood your message, do you mean to say that my website <url removed> is no more in dmoz directory and if this is the truth then how can I again re submit this url as it was in dmoz before already

Please Advice

It's against the TOS of this forum to discuss specific sites. A perusal of old threads will explain why: thousands of pointless arguments and seldom any benefit to anyone.

I took your question to be about the rather limited search function on our pages, with the site only as an example, and answered that question.

I'd recommend (carefully) reading the last sentence of the first response again.

"The updated search will then allow you to determine which of your sites we decided was the one to list."

No point in resuggesting one of your domains.

narayan, we have a submittal policy. You must read it, and you must agree to it, before you suggest a site.

It tells you that if you suggest related sites (such as two sites owned by the same person), ALL OF THOSE SITES MAY BE BANNED.

Is that what you want? If that IS what you want, then PLEASE resubmit your other websites.

Otherwise, just don't.

They make it a bit complicated for you no?

Let me put it straight for you. You must wait, system will take care of your problem. Don't do anything leave it alone and system will solve problem. Do not resubmit!
