I have submitted my site in the DMOZ.COM Directory. Is it different from the DMOZ.ORG Directory? Should I submit my site again in the DMOZ.ORG Directory to get listed in DMOZ? Please advice me in this matter. Thanks.

Thanks.

My site name is: <url removed>

I have suggested this site under the sub-category: Shopping : Home and Garden : Patio .

Is it the right category for this site? I am new in the DMOZ Directory. So, please advice me in this matter.

I have suggested it around 20 days ago. May I know something about the current status of this site or what can be the expected time to get listed in the directory?

As both this forum's tagline and lots of important announcement threads say, we won't provide status reports for listing suggestions. You'll find the reasons why in the FAQ.

It's not a serious problem if you suggest a website to the wrong category; an editor will send it over to the right one.

DMOZ Directory Listing

Thanks for your valuable advice.

How may I know that my site has been listed in the DMOZ Directory? Will I get any confirmation e-mail from DMOZ or there is any other method? Please advice me.

DMOZ Listing

Hello,

I have suggested my site under the Category: Shopping : Home and Garden : Patio around one and half month ago. But till now I am in dark about the status of the site, whether my site has been reviewed by the concerned editor or not. I don't know when it will get listed? I think there should have some way in DMOZ to know at least the latest status of the website. If you can advise me something in this matter that will be great.

Thanks.

We have considered this on may occasions, and have chosen not to implement such a feature.
