As we don't have any influence on Google it is impossible for us to know when they will update their copy of the directory. As far as I personaly know: several times a year.

But the problem is not on Google's side. Your site has been delisted for some time from DMOZ because their have been some problems with your site. A few weeks ago the problems seem to be solved and the site was relisted.

* although this is very close to a status being given I think in this case some extra explanation was needed

If the site was relisted without you doing anything, it was either technical on your end (website not working) or a mistake on our end. (Whether the mistake was delisting or relisting remains to be determined.)

You really need to get that site stabilised. If it doesn't work when an editor visits it, which could be anytime after it has been listed, then it will be unlisted. If it ain't working next time they check it then it could be deleted altogether. If your host is the problem you need to be having words with them.

Hello,
My Website is Pretty stable. It's been down only once this month and that too only for a 4-5 Hours due to Server Maintainence. My host is great too.

Also, I see some strange problem. When I search for "pokedrome" in Dmoz Search, it shows that the website was present in the Above Mentioned Dir. But When I personally go to that directory, the site is missing. Why is this?

Also, my site's URL is actually http://pokedrome.com but the URL http://pokedrome.info still works, so I have no idea what's the problem. I did actually click "Update This Listing" to change my URL, would this have had any effect?

Thanks Guys
~ CC

The search is always some time (days/weeks) behind the actual directory.
The site has been listed but has also be removed again because it was not accesible.
Maybe the difference between com and info is teh problem. If com is the real url and info was listed until recently I strongly advise to suggest the com site with a clear remark tht it should replace te previous listing for the info url.

We don't know. And to be honest (most) editors don't care.

Hello.

Is Dmoz relevance losing value up at G??

Or are Google just learning to ride the bike without stabalisers?

either way I don't care DMOZ is a seperate entitiy and it's true strengh is as a Directory not as a index source for search engines
