Recently I've noticed my high quality site along with several other quality sites were removed by a new editor that now promoted his own websites which are direct competitors of my'n and the other removed, its a shame that this is the quality of editors around here, his execuse for removing my site and adding his competitors sites was that I should refer to Dmoz guidelines, while his sites and dishonest behavior is not in agreement with any of Dmoz guidelines...

Dmoz is very slow...I've waited over a year to get listed and now some AH remove my quality site and promote his own sites and there's nothing I can do about it... I've filed a complain but nothing happened i'm afraid if history is any indication that it will take several years for Dmoz to fix that and ban that spammer...I'm not writing his editor nickname here because I don't want to be like him and not comply with you guidelines. However i'm so disappointed of Dmoz and the Dmoz team of so called "editors" ...why no one does anything? is that the new way to get listed in Dmoz? just to take over a category by pretending to be a valid editor and than adding your own sites and removing others.... :(

If this is to continue than I hope Dmoz value in Search engines will ONE BIG ZERO, i'm glad that not many users use Dmoz, and honestly I wouldn't recommend this Directory to anyone... Just bunch of webmasters that taking over directory categories and promote their own sites... thats all you'll find here.

If there's anyone at Dmoz that actually care about what's going on and what can be done to stop this spammer , please feel free to email me, I can supply you with more details about him and what he did.

Thanks for reading this

Very Disappointed User

As far as I can tell, you only filed your abuse reports today. The meta editors who will review your reports are volunteers, just like all editors, so please allow them some time to investigate.

If you think any editor is abusing his/her permissions, then please use the Public Abuse form to report it.
If you have already done this, then please wait for it to be reviewed and investigated by a volunteer with the necessary permissions. The more information you can provide to support your allegations and concerns, the more likely your report will be handled promptly. Vague and insubstantial reports are unhelpful, but detailed and substantive reports are usually reviewed promptly.
