Hi folks... I was continuously trying to submit a government site last couple of months to Regional/Middle_East/Kuwait/Government/.. is it a must that the email should be of the same domain? Please advice

No, of course not. Suggesting sites is not limited to siteowners. In fact experience shows the best submissions come from prople not affiliated with their suggested site. The only requirement is that it is a valid email.

Windharp,

I suggested a site a week ago. I entered a valid email address. To date I have not received an email confirming my submission. My concern is that my suggestion ended up in the blue nowhere. At the same time, I'm sensitive to duplicating a site suggestion. Any advise?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve
There is no confirmation email but at the end of the suggestion process there should be a confirmation screen. If you see that then the suggestion has been accepted by the system.

Our policy on multiple suggestions are fierce towards spammers but tolerant to ordinary people making mistakes, wanting to be sure etc. Please make a note of the category you suggested to so that if you feel moved to resuggest it will merely overwrite the existing entry :)

regards
