Do all blogs go into the Weblogs category?

I have a daily weblog (new) that answers a question about cabling for networks (phone, television, security, and computer) each day. (Visiting the site probably isn't necessary to answer this question, but if you'd like to, here's the link: http://fourpair.blogspot.com)

I submitted it to this category:
http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/On_the_Web/Weblogs/Technology/

But now I'm thinking that that may have been a mistake. Perhaps it should have gone here:

http://dmoz.org/Computers/Hardware/Cables/FAQs,_Help,_and_Tutorials/

My question: Do all blogs need to be submitted to a Weblogs category or is the blog format acceptable for sites in other categories?

EDIT: Though it's irrelevant to the question, I just realized that I made this post under my personal DMOZ account that I use to submit other people's sites that I think are neat instead of the one I use at work to submit my own sites. So you won't be able to find this submission under my name. Sorry if that confused anyone.

I'm curious about this, too. I have a site ( http://thehathorlegacy.info ) which uses blog software, but I consider it a frequently updated collection of articles, rather than a blog. In my mind, "blog" means it chronicles something, which my site does not. The vast majority of the articles are about works at least several years old, as I like to have perspective before offering criticism.

I submitted the site to http://dmoz.org/Arts/Movies/Theory_and_Criticism/Feminist/ because that was the tightest match, in my opinion. Now I'm wondering if I should have submitted it to http://dmoz.org/Arts/Entertainment/Weblogs/ instead. I just felt that was a very general category for such a niche site.

Fortunately, if an editor feels I've chosen the wrong category, s/he will simply forward the submission to the appropriate category, which I appreciate. But to save the editors that extra step in the future, I'd like to know:

1) What does DMOZ consider a blog? Absolutely any site using blog software? Or just those sites that chronicle something? Or personal blogs?

2) If it fits DMOZ's description of a blog, should we submit it to a blog category, even if there's a more relevant category for regular sites?

IMHO, although I don't edit in any of the categories your site would go in (if described correctly), I think you suggested it to the correct category. We generally believe that the substance of the site is more important than the form.

Perhaps an editor who edits in http://dmoz.org/Arts/Movies/Theory_and_Criticism/ might comment?
