Do dmoz consider to website's pr?

ok. i know dmoz consider who have useful and huge content website. But a lot of website really old and they have really bad design but they are listed in dmoz, i cant understand this :icon_ques

maybe but a lot of sites from "free web hosting services" (freeservices, geocities, 8m)and that sites include a lot of popup and other advertisement metarials, this is not good for visitors.dogbows][COLOR=MediumBlue][B]Design is not considered either. ;) [/B said:
Ah, well, there are two parts to that. The first part is -- I've never yet seen any volunteer organization that couldn't find more work to do than people willing to do it. And the ODP is no different -- if we had more volunteers who were willing to do what ODP editors do (which is ... find work for themselves to do(!), that is, find websites, review and categorize them), then more ODP editing would be done.
But "needs"? No, not really: it has done what it has done without any more volunteers than it had, and what it does it does better than anyone else around.
As for the time between site submittal and site review for any particular site: there is no connection between that and any ODP need.

I'm guessing English isn't your first language? Check out http://dmoz.org/World/ for a good language, find a smallish category that interests you, read the directions, and apply to be an editor.

Read the FAQ and Posting Guidelines, and then go ahead and ask. If, as is likely after 5-6 months, you have been declined, read up all you can in your own language on how to apply, and try again.
