Do I need a healthy page rank to get my site listed?

I just made a survey round the ODP and I found that every listed website has a Google Page Rank of 3:eek: or more. My blog is new in the world of blogging and is having zero page rank:eek: . Is that a rule that my blog will not be listed even though it has got some traffic and content:icon_ques

Google page rank has no effect on a dmoz listing. The fact that a site/blog is new on the other hand does play a role. The only thing that concerns an editor when determining listability is the amount of quality unique content. A new site often hasn't had time to add a sufficient amount of content unless its canned content found all over elsewhere. Once there is a significant amount of unique content readily available on site it will become listable.

I have never really paid any attention, but I suspect that there are a lot of sites listed that have a page rank of less then 3. ;)

Hope that helps.
