Really, no, we don't -- most hits are to licensee's categories, not dmoz.org, and thus completely out of our reach. Google probably gets the most (even more than dmoz.org), but AOL represents a different population and (I'd guess) distinctly different statistics)

No, they could not possibly help anyone (editors or submitters) to determine the appropriate category for a site -- and we recognize no meaning of "most useful" except "most appropriate".
Yes, it would surely result in even more idiotic behavior by stupid spammers. This answer, I admit, is only my opinion, but I've never seen a bit of irrelevant information that isn't systematically abused as excuse for idiotic behavior. There are some things we don't tell people any more because they were ONLY so abused: even editor names on categories are watched goggle-eyed (like tea leaves in a blender) even by some of the wannabe-helpful submitters.
