Does this category need an editor?

Hi
I wondered if this category:
http://dmoz.org/Health/Conditions_and_Diseases/Nutrition_and_Metabolism_Disorders/Water_Balance/
needs an editor as it asks for applicants at the foot of the page.
(Also it is taking ages for my site to get reviewed.)
As the author of a published book on this subject I don't mind applying to be an editor but not if this category already has an editor.
Would appreciate if someone could let me know.

I am not a meta editor but it looks like a good starting category to me.

If a category already has a list editor you will see them listed at the bottom of the page instead of the "Volunteer to edit this category." line of text. But no category doesn't have an editor. Go up a few levels to Conditions_and_Diseases and you'll see the names of the listed editors there. Those editors can actually edit in all the categories below the ones that they are the listed editor of.

This doesn't mean that we wouldn't grant the sub-category to a new editor, it just means that there is someone who can edit it even if their name isn't attached to the specific category.

Even if a category does have a listed editor it doesn't mean that we wouldn't approve an application for a second editor. It all just depends on the circumstances and the particular category. Each case is going to be different.
