Search is currently not functioning correctly. (See other threads on this forum.) It is only an adjunct anyway. If the site is listed in the category there's nothing more to do. Whether or not our search gets fixed, the site will be in the next RDF file for our downstream users.

Use the "Update Listing" link in the current category. In the area where you describe the nature of your changes, mention that you feel the site would be more appropriate in another category, what category that is, and why.

Sorry, but our [thread=396]forum guidelines[/thread] require you to wait at least six months between successive status updates. Most of my content is work related and most of my visitors come from work related sites.

I may not say why the particular editor rejected the request, but it doesn't seem to me that the primary focus of the site is work-related humor.
