Hi,
I am hoping to become the editor of "Arts>Radio>Formats>College and Educational>Regional>United Kingdom".
But my question is more general - there seem to be quite a few duplicated categories in DMOZ - depending on how you navigate to it.
Eg in my mind this is the same category:
"Regional>Europe>United Kingdom>Arts and Entertainment>Radio>Student"
Does DMOZ have way of 'Aliasing' categories (rather than just being related) ? - to make it easier for the user navigate to, but have shared content ?
On a similar note - is there a standard hierarchy of for regions ? I suppose it depends on how popular that sub-category is. But sometime it goes straight to countries, and sometimes it goes continent to country. And sometimes it follows on to county names. I have read through the FAQ on Regional Subcategories. But I still wonder if there method in the madness ?
DMOZ aims to be useful to humans, rather than being comepletely logically organised ?
Cheers,
nick.
