My site was accepted many years ago and I would like to edit the description. How can I do this?

You can't edit descriptions.

You can make suggestions about anything. An editor looks at EVERY suggestion, and considers (1) if it indicates a deficiency in the directory, and (2) how best to remedy that deficiency.

The answer to the first question is often "yes, there's a problem here." And, once in a great while (about once a blue moon in February) the best way to remedy a deficiency is simply to take the suggestion as it is. Sometimes the best thing to is to do something similar, or something else altogether, or even to do nothing. But the decision _must_ be made based on what's best for the site. The dmoz.org site, that is.

Short answer: Visit the category where your site is listed, click on the update listing link at the top of the page and state your case. Avoid the temptation to hype the new title/description.
