editing a category

I read on the main page that editing a category is a snap.

Does this mean there is an easy control panel, or is there still a mininum ammount of programming involved?

There is no programming involved thankfully, the editing interface is a web application that is relatively easy to use (pretty much a control panel I guess).

Most of us aren't technical wizards!

I think the editing "control panel" started out being extremely easy to use, and it has gotten easier over the years.

From a programming point of view, it's a database entry application, and we editors are just data entry clerks. From a user point of view, most editing work is done on a tiny handful of "form fill-out" pages. If you can use forum software or an e-mail program, you can use ODP editing software.
