I am having trouble with my site on the google directory - the site is <url removed>.

I want to change my listed text from "On-line catalogue and secure ordering facilities for a range of traditional football shirts" to something else. Does anyone know how to do this?

Also every now and again seach engines list us as .co.uk instead of the preferred .com. Does anyone know how to stop this?

The Google directory gets its content from the Open Directory Project, dmoz.org, which is what this forum is about. You can't change anything directly, yourself, in the dmoz.org directory, but you can certainly request an update of the description of your site, provided that the current description is wrong or misleading. To request an update, go to the category where your site is listed on dmoz.org (this usually corresponds to the category in Google directory, just replace directory.google.com/Top with www.dmoz.org/ ) and click "Update listing" in the top menu.

Please do not request an update of your site's description for SEO purposes, to add keywords or promotional text. Such update requests are not granted. See this thread for some more general tips on submitting update requests.

You'd probably be better off asking in a search engine discussion forum. We don't really "do" search engines here :)
