today i apply to edit the category of "Top: Regional: Asia: China: Provinces and Regions: Guangdong: Foshan", and i receive an e-mail from apply@dmoz.org">apply@dmoz.org</a> asked me to reply the e-mail without changing the Subject. after i do that, i received a letter from <a href="mailto:daemon@dmoz.org , the content is:

Your Open Directory editor application could not be confirmed.The error received was: Bad authentication ticket

who can tell me what happened?

Check that the reply did not truncate the very long number in the subject line - some mail programs cut the end off it when replying. If it was chopped then send the corrected version again.

Check that there are no "funny characters" in the subject line. If there is, then please post again here, as this will be the return of a bug that was fixed a few weeks ago, and staff will need to be alerted.

I had check my e-mail box,my reply e-mail's subject is
Re: opendir - 041eff2934ef6c4390e16c26f8318493

and the reply subject from <a href="mailto:daemon@dmoz.org is
Re: Re: opendir - 041eff2934ef6c4390e16c26f8318493

so the subject should not be changed or cut.

but i still received an "Bad authentication ticket
" e-mail.

Sounds like the Bad authentication ticket bug is back. I'll pass this information on to our tech support person.

Tech support reports that they were able to process the confirmation and your application is now waiting in the queue to be reviewed.
