I applied as

I received the standard email asking for verification of the email address, I clicked the link and the dmoz website acknowledged the confirmation. I did not receive any other email ever since.
I never received the email as stated in Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING:
"If you received the confirmation e-mail stating that your application is in the system, then your application is most likely in the system. You really should only be asking about the status here if you have reason to believe that your application was lost somewhere along the way."
Maybe this is still referring to the first email ("The Open Directory Project (DMOZ) has received an application to become an Editor from this Email Address. If this is correct, please allow us to verify your Email Address by clicking..."). A clarification in the pinned post appreciated.
I tried to log in as an editor and it says: "User needs an email address verification before the user can login." From some other posts I understand that login is not possible until your application has been accepted. This message is confusing and might be good if changed and described in the application process.
It would also be helpful if the system would send the username and category applied in the confirmation email.
