Editor application status

I submitted an application 3-4 weeks ago and have not received any information. Am I still being considered? What might be the time frame on this?

It's still waiting. The scope of that particular category is in question. What makes it different than the "see also" categories listed there? This needs to be hashed out.

As kctipton says, there is a possible reorganisation about to take place, so it would be pointless appointing an editor right at this moment. You will know in due course.
