Editor Application

I applied as an editor on the 13th February under the username kjohansen. I replied to the email verification successfully, but never received any more information - this may be because the email went to my work email which has pretty strong anti-spam filters. I can change my password though (which obviously sends the verification email to my work email).

Editor Name: kjohansen
Date of Application: 13th February 2011

Whenever I try to login as an editor, it states:

"User needs an email address verification before the user can login."

How do I resolve this issue? I would prefer the email to go to my personal email account, which I assume I can change once I've logged into the account, but I can't get in there to change it :(

To expand a little, your application will be reviewed (time frame uncertain), and if accepted you will be able to change the email address on your profile. :)

Just wondering if my application is still pending, because the email address I used to register the editor account is no longer valid, so I won't be able to read any confirmation email I get

Your Feb 12 application [124471] is no longer pending evaluation and there is no editor account with your requested editorname. I deduce that it was declined. I'm sorry but I can't find any details as to why it was declined.

I've also found your Apr 29 application for the same category but with a different editorname. [130005]. It used the same email as the one you use here. That too was declined.

I suggest that you try again. If accepted, we'll change your username here to be the same as your editorname.

I also suggest that you whitelist all email from the dmoz.org domain in your spam filters.

Yeah I made a second username because I knew I was leaving my old workplace, and I couldn't secure email forwarding from them. I also couldn't find a way to cancel the first application, so hopefully you don't think I was trying to get two editor accounts.

Anyhow thanks for that. I've reapplied under the username 'circle314', I'll wait a few months see if I get accepted
