Hi,

i've filled out the reinstatement form just a day before the "big changes" on 16th to 19th this month.

So far i've got no response, so i'm wondering if something failed due to the changes made on the next day or is the request waiting in queue? Should i fill out the reinstatement form again or just wait a while?

Regards,
Larry

Your reinstatement request properly went through, it's just that nobody processed it yet. Due to some bugs in the DMOZ 2.0 software I could imagine meta editors being a lot more carefull with those actions, not to destroy anything ^^

Hmmm ok thanks for the reply :).

Basically this DMOZ 2.0 hype is what made me remember about dmoz being a good place to spend some free time. Is there somewhere more info about what specific changes the 2.0 version brings? Are there some new tools for editors or will the user frontend change?

I've tried to surf this forum for some DMOZ 2.0 specific info but it seems to be just filled with people complaining about suggested sites not being listed :(.

Once your reinstatement request is processed you can find out more information about the new system. At the current time AOL have not made any public announcements about DMOZ 2.0 other than what's been posted in the official DMOZ blog - http://blog.dmoz.org/ :)
