It was declined and there's no need to apply again.

We wish you well in your future endeavours.

may I ask why mr. noble? when you mention no need to apply again that must mean that there is something about myself that you do not like. the only reason I could think of is my online marketing background which has prompted the ODP to assume that I would make biased edits. is it safe to say that?

Sorry to say, but our policy does not allow us to talk about specific rejection reasons. I did not check your application (nor will I do), but you can have a look at guidelines about reviewing new editor application and the related guidelines about removing editors if you like. From the application(s) you handed in, the reviewing meta editors obviously came to the conclusion you would not become a good editor.

If I wasn't a good enough editor in terms of my ability to edit that determination would have been made by critiquing my test edits in the application. We all know that you are allowed to re apply under those conditions.

To be told that there is no need to apply again means that I do not have a chance to resubmit an application with a better attempt to write titles and descriptions. With that said, the denial wasn't due to inability to edit based on writing ability.

The second possibility would simply be that I may lack grammer, spelling and language skills giving the impression that I am uneducated or I am not "professional enough". I won't eleborate in terms of this possibility since my educational background & professionalism is, well lets just say, I'm affluent.

With these only possiblilities existing in the mind of any logically individual, there is only one other reason for not being deemed qualified (maybe I should not use the word qualified and just reference approved). That reason is that my background is related to Online Marketing, the powers that be felt that I would make biased edits or which my belifs are leaning more towards is that I am not allowed to play with the "cool kids".

I know someone is going to reply to this post with a post mentioning the quidelines page or that editor application disapprovals are not discussed when we all know that there are many threads and post in this forum with editor appliation status information to those who request it. As well as those that are denied recieve an email with reasons for the denial.

If you don't want me on the team for whatever reason just say it. Its your ballpark so if I can't play just let me know. But if it is due to my, what may have been judged as truly unqualified to be an editor, with all due respect, JUST TELL ME!
