editor

i applied to be an editor and i got turned down...can anyone tell me why?

Since you know that the application was denied you obviously have the e-mail that includes the reasons why. That's all we can tell you.

Steve, there are no records kept of applications which are denied. Usually it states the reason in the email you got. The only person that knows the reason is the meta-editor who processed the application. Unless that editor is checking this forum regularly (and not all of them do), then we're not going to be able to help you here.

You should have received a standard note listing several possible reasons why your application was declined with an added reviewer comment at the bottom.

Rather than compromise your privacy, I can only suggest that you read the comment again.
