Dear Forum,

I have submitted my site <url removed> to the following

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Weddings/

on the 12 of Dec 06


however I spotted editors.dmoz.org appearing in my weblogs as having connected to the site. Does the appearance of that in the logs mean they have been evaluated and by the looks of things rejected? I am trying to word in this in a way not to annoy the moderators but hopefully get a feel from them for whether I should give up and stick with google click ads!

Which would be a small wonder as that function was down at that moment due to the technical problems we had at the end of last year.

It only means that someone (a human editor) or something (one of our many tools) has visited the site from that server. It does not mean it has been reviewed.

I must have got the date wrong its just that is what I have next to it on my submitting record.
So a visit from editors.dmoz.org is not a guarantee of review I have been successful with my two other sites getting dmoz listed and they were included pretty quickly compared to other big free sites like JoeAnt. I was feeling hopeful about this one! - well I shall just have to wait and see then.
