Email Confirmation, Other questions

Hello,

I just applied to be an editor in an Arabic sectio, here.

First thing i got the email and i sent it back, the thing they didn't confirm if they received it or not, is that how it suppose to work?

another thing, in general the Arabic section is almost a deserted place exactly like in reality, i tried to get a good impression by writing all my answers in both Arabic and English , thinking about it now is this going to impact on me negatively?

and finally i hope i do get the approval ASAP since the section i applied for is near impossible to approve submissions in for some unknown reason (many Arab people in same section have this problem and wanted to give a hand), is there any active guys who's going to review my submission?

No, quite the contrary. It will make it easier for your application to be reviewed, since there are more meta editors who read English than read Arabic.

No Status update for my application

i applied on April 21, 2010 for my application and didn't receive any thing since.

Category - Here

Editor Name - alessai

Date - April 21, 2010

though the section is an Arabic section, i did write the application in both Arabic and English so i believe that will make things more smoother.
(If my application was rejected, i didn't receive any email so may i ask for what reason was it rejected?)

photofox, hey there, i'm not being rude but i dont think any arab person will review this any soon, especially if it is the same person who's moderating the section i applied for.

so please can you redirect my application to someone else ?please? since i wrote it in both arabic and english.

It wouldn't be. Editor applications are reviewed by the group of senior editors known as "meta" editors.

All editor applications go into a pool where any meta editor can review them. There's no need to "redirect" your application to anyone. Someone will eventually review it -- please be patient.
