Entry problems ?

shows that the website http://www.chrisranjana.firm.in is placed under the category

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/India.../Computers_and_Internet/Software_Development/

But when I go to this category

http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/India.../Computers_and_Internet/Software_Development/

I do not find that particular entry

2 Actually the website http://www.chrisranjana.firm.in is no longer in use and I want it to be updated to show the correct url http://www.chrisranjana.com

Can anyone please shed some light on this issue ?

The search is generally a bit behind the actual public category page.

It may be that the dead link has already been spotted and removed, in which case the thing to do is just submit the new link.

Unfortunately, no. It will have to wait in the pool until an editor reviews it in the normal course of events.

There is no mechanism to do what you are asking.
