Equiry into my editor application status??

Just enquiring as to the status of my editor application.
I am applying for the:
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Oceania/New_Zealand/Auckland/Auckland City/Travel and Tourism,
my reply authorisation email number was :
"opendir - 8efb5e383da55809e9144a7c02acb8a8" - and have received a reply that it was received. <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

Have been sent a reply- thx, however I have been turned down!!!...
Anyway have reapplied to the smallest category I could find that fits with my area of interest Xcross fingers!X
quick question - if a apply for another category while the first is being considered, will that hurt my chances of becoming an editor??

Finally, another New Zealander! Thanks for applying to help with the ODP. I am not sure about the question you asked, but I would probably say that it is impossible to apply for another category if you already have one application in the pipeline. If you use the same email address, the system should pick up on your pending application, and deny the second one. I'm sure someone who's more familiar with the system can confirm or deny this.

Yep, you could be right - there is another category I am itching to apply for - but will leave it at the moment..
