Help! After I submitted my url I notice that I made an error. Can I fix that before some editor takes a look?

Do it again, and do it right this time.

It's difficult to be more specific without more details.

Here is my dilemma: I put the wrong url in the url field. The address will go no where as I submitted it. I am more than happy to submit the site again but I don't want to get in trouble for spamming or whatever you all call it when people repeatedly submit the same url. With the consequences being that my site will have no chance of being included. So if there is a way to correct my first submission than I would like to do so. If, however, I cannot and my only recourse is to resubmit than I will.

Resubmit with the correct url. One mistake won't get you labeled a spammer.

If you resubmit a different URL we can't very well label you a spammer for repeatedly resubmitting any URL.

Experience has it that people who worry about spammy submittals are never spammers; people who worry about submittal of spammy sites always are.

It has to be pretty nasty spam to invoke penalties -- you have to submit multiple spam sites, or shotgun-submit a site repeatedly, or submit multiple related sites, or threaten to sue someone, ... all vicious stuff that nobody could do by accident. Misspelling a URL, _I_ could do by accident.
