We have suggested our site twice in the ODP and after reading the forum, we now know how much of a bad idea that was. However, while reading most of the post, we found and ODP editor suggest that every site requesting submission is listed in alphabetical order. Our concern is, if every site in the ODP is listed in alphabetical order, does that mean a site starting with the letter U, will never make it to the top of the list or even worse never get seen by an editor at all?

If anyone has any truth to this matter, your help would be greatly appreciated! :D

The websites in the directory (visible to the public) are listed in alphabetic order.
The websites in the pool of suggested websites (not visible to the public) can be sorted in many orders by the editors. One of them being alphabetical.

Thanks, that is great information to know on our end. We hope not to have wasted a topic. But a quick note to DMOZ editors, don't let the harassment get to you, volunteering your services is wonderful. Thank You :D
