Not blacklisted, but greylisted at any rate.

This is a "business card" template site -- minimal content at the very best, and the agent never got around to adding his own unique content, so this is still a long way from the "very best". It counts as, at best, "under construction."

Construct it first, then promote it.

Limited budget for the time being - I'm out to prove he can get leads from his website. He does have unique content on his website. His own information, his own listings... seems like enough unique content to get a listing. I guess if I really can't get a listing in dmoz, I'll tell him to dump homes.com - go with the more personal approach. We were kinda gonna do this soon anyways - but maybe now is the time. Any chance you can reconsider?

Thanks,
Dan

In all honesty this site has even less than the normal amount of actual unique content than most template sites.

Two paragraphs saying 'buy from me, I've got information' does not content make. As you are aware the listings are not even part of the site but pulled from what is effectively an MLS database.

There needs to be at least some unique content - information about the agent - their background - even a photo or two.

Try getting the agent to put their own bio up, rather than some generic stuff with 'agent name goes here' inserts.

Just for fun try searching in Google on the phrase 'Because the real estate industry is becoming more sophisticated and challenging' look, see how unique.

Seriously the bar for listings of local interest sites isn't that high, but if there isn't more information than a phone book listing it's getting *much* harder to justify the listing.

As a potential purchaser (not an editor) the more personalised sites are always going to be ahead of the game - by the time I've looked at 6 agent sites in an area I've seen the same 2 template designs at least twice each and start wondering if they are real businesses, or at least why 1 is better than the other.

As it stands feel free to resubmit if the content changes.
