Category editor resigned - how will my site get reviewed now!

Good afternoon

Yes could someone please advise me on what happens when the category you submitted your site to loses its editor. Not only did I lose my category editor but it appears to be a ghost town pretty much around all of the categories except one - the editor for babies!

I saw around the forum that if an editor doesn't participate for four months or so that they will have to go - but I am not sure if that's what happened.

Will all of the pending sites fall into the only left standing editor or will all of the sites for that category have to wait for a new editor?

I know that sites can take months to be reviewed by an editor but wanted to know if the site will be floating until DMOZ gets another Volunteer.

I noticed that earlier this month, a dmoz editor visited my site however from reading the forum I know that does not mean anything. And it could have been sites getting shuffled and not an actual review.

However, what I cannot figure out even after reading the sections pointed out to me from last time, the forum etc. is how to search dmoz.org to see if a site is listed. I tried mine and a couple of others that said they had gotten listed but it says, no open directory project results found. So now, I wonder if there is a secret to searching or did their site get moved later on during the course of their business.

Right now I have tried by some keywords, by leaving off the www, by leaving off the .com, and typing it in all together and just flat out searching. If it is not there by your suggested search tips, would that mean the site was rejected?

Search is unreliable. To check if you're listed, go look at the category .

Ok, I did just that again and there is no listing for the category that I submitted for or for others that may be a close match. So would that be a sign of a reject or just a sign to keep waiting?
