Hello,

Please let me know if this site has been received for review, submitted around March 15, 2005:

I think in this category (it was 2 months ago and I'm not sure):

http://dmoz.org/Business/Consumer_Goods_and_Services/Clothing/Workwear_and_Uniforms/

I'm not sure that this was the correct category in the first place. It's the website of a retailer of work wear clothing. Some other similar companies are listed in:

http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/

If it has been received I will wait for your review. Please advise on what I should do if it has not been received, or if perhaps I am linking the wrong category above.

I didn't find it. But if you don't KNOW exactly where you submitted it, we don't have a good way of looking for it.

It is not pending review in the uniform category.

You should submit to the proper category and add a note that you mistakenly submitted to the wrong category the first time.

This was good advice, if it's pending in the incorrect place it is just waiting for someone to move it to the correct category where it would need to be moved to.

OK, I went to resubmit to http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/ and there was no "suggest URL" option (how did other websites get listed in this category?) so I resubmitted to http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/Uniforms/Industrial/

However there was no provision to "add a note that I mistakenly submitted to the wrong category the first time" as Compostannie advised...

Hope I don't get docked for resubmitting.......

The note would have been in brackets at the end of the suggested description.

Oh. It doesn't say anything about that on the "suggest URL" page. And with the rules climate as it is, I certainly didn't feel free to just add it "wherever."

Well, maybe someone else will read this and know what to do.

(still a little nervous that I did something wrong and will get rejected, this whole experience is pretty intimidating...)

The comment about Shopping/Clothing/ above - post#3, meant that it belonged more correctly in that area than in Business. You should choose the sub-category that most matched your site.

Sites that appear in the actaul Shopping/Clothing caegory are moved there by editors when they think it's suitable. Submission is not allowed there, to prevent it being swamped by everyone who wants their sites listed there.

I would suggest you go ahead and submit again once.
