Hi,
I've read submission guidelines and it says not to submit a domain that's being forwarded. I understand if they're talking about not submitting a domain that forwards to another domain. But what about a situation where you forward one subdomain within your domain to another subdomain?
Here's my specific example:
I own ?????.com and of course, the most common way of identifying the site is www.?????.com However, my site is an online gourmet food store that uses a hosted ecommerce platform that resides at shop.?????.com
The majority of the content of the site is on shop.?????.com (we also have news.?????.com and media.?????.com but it's all related and part of the same site under www.?????.com)
SO, www.?????.com forwards to shop.?????.com
We promote www.?????.com and that's how people typically link to us.
I'd like to submit my site to DMOZ but I don't want to get excluded because I submit www.?????.com and someone complains that it's forwarding.
What should I do?
Thanks very much in advance.
Buck
