Found a bug after I submited

I submited a php site about 2 weeks ago and found a bug after i'd submited it. for this reason i'm not expecting to get listed but would like to re-apply. After reading the terms and conditions when i first registered if i re-apply to soon it could be taken that i'm spamming dmoz and i could get banned.

Anybody got any advice on how long to leave it before i re-apply.

You would first need to go and check and see if your original submission is still waiting to be reviewed or not. Go to the submission status forum, read the forum guidelines, then post a status request. If your site was declined because the site was broken that would be the time to resubmit. If it is still waiting for review then you will not have to do anything at all.
