From 20 May until now !! why ?

Hello, I'd like to kindly ask for check-up on status of my application to become editor on

Dmoz wrote under section " This category needs to editor "

If the category needs the editor why took long time for review my application ??

Realy that category deserted from long time and need to animation it again

I wish help me to review my application

Although we try to process applications as soon as possible there are some reasons that might make the time longer. One of them is that the reviewing meta editors are volunteers like all editors. An other thing is the number of meta's that is capable of understanding certain languages. As a result time between application and revied may vary between a few hours and several weeks (exceptinal a few months).
