General Listing Advice - Which category

I signed up with the Resource Zone just to get help
with the proper category to submit my website to.
I spent a lot of time trying to find the best category.

We are a fundraiser, coupon book, entertainment,
restaurant, can sell locally and nationally, could
be advertising and marketing, could be shopping,
could be travel...etc.
Help.

Just suggest your website to what you think is the one best category. If we disagree, we'll move it .

Do you mean to say that you are a web portal? If it is so, then you can search for portal domain names and submit your website in the same category.

Don't think "I want to obtrude myself between everyone wanting information on (say) travel, and their desired destination" -- because that desire will arouse an absolute lack of sympathy in everyone (competitors, surfers, and volunteer editors). Instead, think "what is the service I am offering"? Sounds like it's absolutely NOT travel: you neither inform people about destinations, take them there, nor house, feed, or guide them while they ARE there. Likewise, it's not shopping: you do not warehouse goods which you ship to people who call you on the telephone.

It sounds like the services you ARE offering are "fundraising products". Someone who was looking for help printing a coupon booklet, which their people could then sell, might well WANT to find your website.
