General question

I've read faq ,etc. I have a common issue and understand I can expect little if any help but I'm trying anyways.
I submitted a site about 8 months back that still is not listed www.keepsaketributes.com -Top: Shopping: Death Care: Online Memorials

I submitted another site about a month back
www.jbatkins.com-Top: Computers: Internet: Web Design and Development: Designers: Full Service: J
Which is not listed either.

BTW- neither site category had an editor.

My general question is, Will I will be notified if any submission I submit is reviewed? Even after 2 years?
The info may be around but I evidently overlooked it.
I know an email address is asked for when you submit so I was assuming maybe that is why? In any case I've received no emails.

I planned on submitting 4 others but with my track record I'm asking why.

I don't expect anything from this post but hope that someone might answer my general question.

Just to clarify this comment, it is irrelevent to anything in regards to review time. A vast majority of categories do not have *named* editors. Any editor with permissions in any higher level category can and will edit there. There are also editors with directory wide permissions that edit anywhere they take an interest.

If you saw the Confirmation page after you suggested your site, you can assume that your suggested url was received. There is no need to resubmit. Eventually (no telling how long or by whom) a volunteer editor will have a look at your suggestion. If the site is listable it will listed and will eventually turn up on dmoz.com, if it is not listable it will removed from the unreviewed pool.
