Gladwish Land Sales

Hi I used to post under the name twist but it seems my account has been deleted for some reason.

A few months ago I requested that a land agent's site be removed and the official site http://www.perfectplot.co.uk entered in it's place.

The correct site is listed fine in the category :
http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/England/Business_and_Economy/Property/Commercial/

BUT if I do a search it still returns an entry for http://www.land-for-sale-uk.co.uk who are land traders/agents for Gladwish Land Sales. It was agreed that their entry is of no use to the directory and should be removed but it still appears.

Your old account here wasn't deleted, it was eaten by a bug. If you do a search on "Gladwish Land Sales" in this forum you'll find your old threads, albeit with funky looking usernames. We had a little database glitch a few months ago, you're far from the only one affected.

Oops, and edit. I'm going to let someone with more knowledge in this area answer the real question.

Despite extensive notes to the contrary, an editor replaced http://www.perfectplot.co.uk when it was unavailable on June 11th with what he saw as a suitable alternative - http://www.land-for-sale-uk.co.uk .

I've fixed the problem (though that won't show up in search or on the public side for a while) and a black helicopter is even now on a mission to educate him.

Now, what shall we do about its sister site http://www.plotwant.co.uk/ ? We shouldn't be listing both of them when it would be perfectly simple for you to cross link between the two.

I have no control over any of the traders' web sites - they are all run by individual traders who buy Gladwish Land Sales (GLS) land. The ONLY site I have control over is the GLS site at www.perfectplot.co.uk. There is no problem with these other sites, the only problem was that http://www.land-for-sale-uk.co.uk was entered under the name of GLS, which is obviously incorrect.

So the http://www.landnews.co.uk that you were enquiring about in another thread isn't actually in Gladwish's control?

Well not Gladwish as such because I don't work for them, but yes the site is mine. However this site is different as its main purpose is to inform and educate, not sell.

It's external links page seems to list only one land sales agency - Gladwish . More (or fewer) would do much to establish the website's credibility as a wholly independant entity.
