How to sumit my site in google search engine

There is a diference between appearing in the Google directory and being listed by Googles search engine.

You do not need to be listed by DMOZ/ODP to be in Google search results.

You do not need to be listed by DMOZ/ODP to be No 1 on a Google search.

To get listed by a Google search all you need is one or more websites that google knows about linking to you.

That means that your site has been suggested for inclusion in the Open Directory Project (which is where Google Directory gets their data from - Google search engine is different, as Eric-the-bun points out). There is nothing more you can do. An editor will review the site at some point, and it is impossible to tell when this will happen - please see our FAQ for more information. Thank you. {moz}

Certainly, getting listed in DMOZ will get your site indexed in most of the search engines. If you must submit your site to Google directly, I would advise looking into their Sitemaps program. It may seem intimidating at first, especially if you have a large website. In realty, it is fairly simple and straightforward.

This forum is only for DMOZ.
As Google's directoy is using the DMOZ directory as a source you can only get into the G-directory if your are listed in DMOZ diectory. In our FAQ (for link see top of page) and on http://dmoz.org/add.html and http://dmoz.org/guidelines/include.html you can find information about how to suggest your site to DMOZ.

We can't answer questions about Goolge's searchengine. Maybe you can find the information you are looking for through sites listed in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Search_Engines/Google/
or you could ask your question in one of the forums listed in http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Promotion/Chats_and_Forums/

You have followed the right steps for the Directory.

There is no problem.

After a time, an editor will look at your site.

You must now wait.

We do not know how long you will have to wait.

Hello?

You cannot submit to the Google Directory.

IF your site is ever included in the ODP, then Google might list your site in their directory a few months later.

IF you have already submitted your site as a suggestion to the ODP, then there remains nothing further for you to do.

Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati, Bangla, Marathi, Punjabi are all more-or-less "native" to parts of India; Arabic and English are widely enough used in India to be considered "major Indian languages" if they weren't used so widely elsewhere. All these have ODP categories, and there are a few others in "Test" (that is, we don't have editors for them yet.)

You meant Hindi and English  India has less that 0.004% of Arabic speaking natives.

Heh, Hutcheson makes a typo about every 1500~2000 posts. You're doing very well to spot one. :)

Hutcheson’s depth of knowledge is commendable. I just happened to know this geographic area intimately.

Ah, but of the few in the list I tested, only Hindi has submission guidelines that come up as '???????????????? ???????? ??????' on my screen :) so I hoped it might have been helpful if it was his native language.

[I must admit replying to a question with a link pointing to '?????' feels rather cool  ]

I just thought I would let people know that sitemaps, works well. My site is a strong pagerank 3 with google and I still haven't gotten listed in the DMOZ.

It is unlikely that any editor would know the PageRank of any site that they reviewed; and even if they did, it would likely not have any effect on that review whatsoever.
