Could you please keep this thread in English? You will soon be missing out on, if not already, contributions from those that do not speak Gujarati.

I was following this thread and was seeing it evolve into good discussion on ways of contributing at DMOZ even if someone is not an editor. It could have evolved into a good thread had the posts remained in English.

Considering that most people who read these forums may not know Gujarati language, I think the common courtesy demands that if you are to engage in an exteneded dialog in Gujarati, you do so off line.

For the records, I do speak Gujarati, in addition to at least five other langauages, so please do not even think I have any thing against that beautiful language.

I hope you take this as a constructive suggestion...

Your suggestion is well taken.

However, please note that this thread is *specifically* meant for Gujarati.
It will also serve people who know Gujarati but don't know English, eventually, as and when the number of such people on the net increases.
Unless we already have threads in Gujarati, this section of the population will never be encouraged to participate.

Therefore it's not a good idea to discourage discussion in Gujarati, *in the Gujarati thread* .
