I submitted a site for my church to the "religion" category 10 months ago, and have wondered the same thing. Is there any way to find out why it hasn't been listed??

My site was submitted 10 months ago to the "religion" category and I'm desperate to get listed... it is hard to be patient when I know how great it would be to finally be on the DMOZ website. I also re-submitted it, which I now know I shouldn't have done, but I didn't know what else to do.

Yep, volunteer to edit it, :D, otherwise, no there isn't, I'm afraid. We no longer do site status reports here. Love to have you join us, :).

We don't penalise a website because of an extra listing suggestion.

However, be aware that a new suggestion of a website to a category replaces the original one. If an editor works in suggestion date order (and some do) you'll have delayed its processing - probably not the effect you were hoping to achieve.

You should also suggest your site to the locality where the church has a physical presence. Not all localities have a religion subcategory, so you may ahve to suggest it to the Society_and_Culture subcategory or (if it is a real small place) to the locality itself.
