for the past 24 hours - both in Califonia and New York

Last year - on April 1st someone hacked into Dmoz and redirected it to an anti mircrosoft page - could there be something malicious happening?

Ehm.. nobody hacked into Dmoz last year. It was an April's fool, something ODP staff did. 1st April, you know? <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

Even Wired, NTK and The Register, among many others, went along with the joke for a while.

There were even some fake press releases going around. A Google search will still find some of it archived away.
